How It All Began

Before Northstar Marketing began helping business owners, primarily across the UK, the Director of Northstar Marketing, Stuart, was at University studying to gain a degree in Marketing. To earn extra money, alongside a job at ASDA, he taught himself how to build websites and optimise them to the top of Google. The site he built promoted home furnishings which generated leads for fitted bedrooms, among other products. These leads were sold to local businesses, as was the website when he completed University, to pursue a marketing position within an AIM-listed company.

Managing an annual marketing budget of over £1 million, he successfully delivered profitable growth for the business and advanced his knowledge of SEO, website development, TV advertising, digital ads & PPC. In 2010, he decided the time was right, despite the recession, to start Northstar Marketing.
